Boeing Outstanding Mechanical Engineering Junior Award
The Boeing Outstanding Mechanical Engineering Junior Award recognizes an undergraduate student in mechanical engineering with a high level of scholarly achievement as well as a demonstrated interest in the aerospace industry.
Boeing is the world's largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial jetliners and defense, space and security systems. Boeing supports this award in Mechanical Engineering at Penn State to foster Boeing's long tradition of leadership and innovation in the aerospace industry.
Consideration will be given to students enrolled in the Mechanical Engineering program who have a junior standing (67-99 earned credits) and who provide an application.
Students may self-nominate for this award. Calls for applications are sent out early in the fall semester. Students may provide an application to the MNE Undergraduate Programs Office, 139/140 Reber Bldg. Selection of the award winner will be based on scholarly achievements as well as a demonstrated interest in the aerospace industry.
